Privacy policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This policy explains what Appforge (the website and the iOS and Android apps) collects, why, who processes it and how you can access or delete it. Contact: support@example.com.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address, an optional name, whether your email is verified, and your sign-in identity (managed by our authentication provider; we never see or store your password).
  • Your content: the app descriptions and change requests you write, the apps we generate for you (source files, versions, build output), chat history in each project, and data you enter while using a generated app's preview.
  • Credits: your credit balance and a ledger of grants and usage. Payments are not enabled during the beta.
  • Security and abuse prevention: keyed hashes (not the raw values) of your IP address, a random device identifier and your normalized email, used to prevent repeated free-credit sign-ups.
  • Product analytics: page views and funnel events (for example "project created"), linked to your account when you are signed in. No advertising trackers and no data sales.
  • Cookies: a sign-in session cookie, a random device identifier and, if you arrived from a campaign link, its source. They are first-party, HTTP-only and used only for the purposes above.

Why we use it

  • To provide the service you asked for: sign-in, generating and editing apps, previews and credits (performance of contract).
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
  • To understand and improve the product in aggregate (legitimate interest).
  • To send account emails such as sign-up confirmation and password reset. We do not send marketing email.

Who processes it

  • Anthropic (AI model provider): your prompts and project files are sent to generate and repair apps. Under Anthropic's commercial terms this data is not used to train models.
  • Supabase (authentication), Neon (database), Render (hosting), all in the EU (Frankfurt) where configurable.
  • An email delivery provider, for account emails.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, if bot protection is enabled on sign-in.

Sharing your apps

Projects are private by default. If you create a public link, anyone with it can open and use that app's preview (its compiled code runs in their browser). Your project files, chat and the data you saved stay private, and each visitor gets their own separate copy of the preview data. You can make the project private again at any time, which disables the link.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. Deleted projects are removed from your account immediately and purged with your account. When you delete your account, everything listed above is deleted, except a keyed hash of your normalized email that prevents claiming the free sign-up credits again (it cannot be turned back into your address) and aggregate analytics no longer linked to you. Backups expire on our providers' retention schedule.

Your rights

You can access and export your projects (export depends on your plan), correct your details, and delete your account at any time in Account settings or in the app (Account → Delete account). See how to delete your account. For any other request (access, correction, objection, portability) email support@example.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK you may also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Appforge is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will update this page and the date above if this policy changes, and tell you in the app for significant changes.
